Hi there again. I am currently half way through my 5th JGTO event in Japan. Although I have really enjoyed my events so far, I would have had more fun if I had played a little better. I am very close to putting 4 great rounds together. I had a great experience at the Diamond Cup, where the last day I played with Ryo Ishikawa, the young Japanese superstar. The crowds were crazy. About 10 deep around greens and tees and many more up the sides of the fairways. I had great fun, the Japanese crowds are great to play infront of. Anyway I hope to report some good finishes in the next month or so. Hope your hitting it straight and holing all your putts, Cheers

Hello everyone. Well I am finely in Japan and have played 2 events here. T50 in the first event and a missed cut at last weeks Token Cup. I have enjoyed my 2 weeks here and am on the edge of playing some really solid golf. I had a mate from Australia who lives here now caddy for me last week, which was a lot of fun, on and off the course. He took me to some really good Japanese Restaurants, where we ordered stuff that I had never heard of! It was great to try some of the Japanese food, thanks Paul. I am staying in a place called Toyonaka by myself, so ordering dinner tonight was interesting. Keep a eye on the sight as I will keep everyone informed weekly about how my events are going over here. Thanks and good golfing

Well we are at the end of another year. The finish to my year had mixed results.
The Australian Masters and Open didn't go quite how I would have liked. Although I did only arrive at 9 30 on the Thursday morning of the Australian Open from Japan. It was straight from the airport to the hotel, a quick change and straight to the course to tee off tee off. So add jet lag and the fact that I had not played Royal Sydney before, and that all adds up to about 79 shots!! My caddy Rob did a great job pacing the course and working out where and where not to go before I got there but unfortunately as a caddy, you are only as good as your player! (sorry Rob!).
The trip to Japan was worth it. I finished with card 22 which means that I will get probualy 13 starts out of the first 15 tournaments so I am really happy with my result. It makes the hard work that you put in all year worth it. It was my 1st trip to Japan and even though the language barrier was tough, I really enjoyed it.
So the plans are to have a week or 2 off golf and spend every day in the gym with the X Factor boys (marco and Josh) getting stronger and fitter, making sure that I am ready for a great start to a big year. I would like to wish all the people that follow me a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy New Year and of course good golfing.

Well the year is half over and it has been a very busy and successful first half. I had numerous top 5 placing and a win at the Coca Cola Morobe Open in PNG. I spent 2 weeks in PNG which is alway a interseting adventure.
I am currently up in North Queensland as the Sunshine Tour has started which is always a busy time for me. We basicly started at Mt Isa, then made our way over to Townsville. From there we make our way down the coast towards Brisbane. We play some great golf courses and also play for some good money so I am really looking forward to the next few months.
I am also in the middle of preparing a plan for the end of the year as I am going to the European and Japanese Tour Schools. Because of my 12th place finish last year on the Australasian Tour, I receive a exemption into last Stage of each of the schools, which is a huge advantage. I am really excited and can't wait to get over there.
I have also entered a new domain! No alcohol for 3 to 4 months! The boys at X Factor have a fitness plan so when I arrive at the Tour schools, I hit the ground running. I can't believe how hard it is, but will be all worth it in the end.
I have also been working hard with my coaches on some small technique changes which are coming along great. They are not huge changes but like any change, it feels I little uncomfortable at first.
Anyway I would love to hear from anyone how there golf has been and hope you are all holing all of your putts, Cheers.
1st January 2008
Well I am looking forward to a big 2008. At the start of every year, I like to start of with a week on a detox diet. This is mixed in with gym sessions 5 or 6 times a week. At christmas time I always like to enjoy the festive spirit so at the start of each year I like to lose about 7 kgs and work on my fitness. I feel this is a great spring board into the new year.
My official tournaments start at the end of January with the Victorian PGA. I am a past winner of this event and always enjoy returning to a course that I have won on. The Australiasian Tour starts mid February with the New Zealand PGA, Moonah Classic and then The Johnnie Walker Classic in India. I have not been to India before so it should be a experience!
I have also been working hard with my coaches on some small technique changes which are coming along great. They are not huge changes but like any change, it feels I little uncomfortable at first.
Professional Investment Services (PIS) has jumped on board joining team Jeffress this year. They are a great supporter of sport around the world and I am very lucky to be involved with such a great organisation.
Everything is coming along great and I am confident that I will jump out of the boxes this year with a couple strong finishes early in the season.
